Weston Favell Academy

A Level Results 2019

Pupils at Weston Favell Academy celebrate success with A Level results.

The majority of pupils who have applied to go to university have achieved the grades necessary to do so, with many also being accepted to Russell Group Universities.

Whist all pupils have done remarkably well, there are some wonderful individual success stories, from:

  • Ben Cookman who achieved A* Further Maths, A* Maths, A Chemistry, A Computer Science Destination, and will go on to study Natural Sciences at Durham University.
  • Imogen Holdaway who achieved A Economics, A Biology, A Geography, and will go on to study Economics and International Economics at Nottingham University.
  • Moqam Noori who achieved A Business, B Economics, Distinction IT. Morgan, who joined Weston Favell Academy as an EAL student with a low level of English will on to study Economics at Leicester University.

“Our pupils have achieved fantastic results which is a testament to their hard work and ambition over the past year. I am excited for what the future holds for this cohort and wish them the very best for their future studies and endeavours.  I would also like to extend my thanks to our dedicated staff and parents who have offered continuous support and played an important role in achieving these results.”
