Extra-Curricular Activities
What is Extra-Curricular?
At WFA, we encourage all of our students to take part in extra-curricular activities. Extra-curricular activities are clubs that students are able to attend in their own time (before, during or after school) to develop skills and try out new activities which they may not have experienced before.
It is a great way to socialise and make new friends from all year groups. Within the PE department, a student's participation and commitment in these activities will not go unnoticed. At the end of the academic year, a Sports Presentation is held to reward students in recognition of their representation of the academy within competitions and also from attending the extra-curricular clubs.
What is Enrichment?
Enrichment gives children opportunities to try new and varied activities that may not strictly fit into the curriculum, but that develop character, resilience and motivation, and encourage them to pursue wider goals.
