We express our deepest sympathies for the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Her dedication to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and to her other realms and territories is unparalleled, and we thank her for her service.

Our academy will observe the mourning period, continuing to operate as normally as possible whilst supporting our pupils, families, and staff. 

Following the sad news of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, you may be aware that King Charles III has declared the day of the funeral a national Bank Holiday.  As a mark of respect, Weston Favell Academy will be closed to all students and staff on Monday 19 September 2022. We will return to school as normal on Tuesday 20 September 2022.
