Government update on Exams 2020
The Government expects to publish detailed information about the process and timetable which will apply this summer next week. This will include the steps teachers need to follow and more detailed guidance on how to consider the full range of evidence available when submitting their assessment grades. The Government will be talking to teaching representatives to make sure that what they are planning is manageable and appropriate.
Communication to Sixth Forms from Clare Marchant, Chief Executive of UCAS 24 March 2020:

Students should not rush into decisions about their offers and universities should stand back from making any changes from conditional to unconditional offers :
Following the cancellation of examinations and assessments, the Government have asked all universities and colleges in England to stop making unconditional offers or amending existing offers to students for two weeks.
